Datacor Announces Jennifer Gibson as the Interaxions 2014 Keynote Speaker

Jennifer Gibson, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) advances the group’s interests before regulatory agencies and develops compliance tools and programs for its members. She authors the Regulatory Checklist and Resources for Chemical Distributors and edits the weekly NACD News Brief regulatory e-newsletter. Jennifer facilitates and is a frequent speaker for NACD’s regulatory webinars and in-person training sessions. In addition, she established and manages the NACD Regulatory Affairs Committee and is an active member of the Chemical Sector Coordinating Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Security Task Force, and the Interested Parties for Hazardous Materials. Before turning her full efforts to regulatory issues in 2012, Jennifer directed all of NACD’s legislative activities. Her key accomplishments in this area included substantially increasing member participation in the annual Washington Fly-In and funds raised for the NACD Responsible Distribution PAC.  She joined the NACD in 2003. Prior to entering the association field, Jennifer spent several years on Capitol Hill.


Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She will be discussing the regulatory environment in Washington and the impacts this is having on the chemical industry during the Conference Kick Off on Wednesday, May 14th at 8:30 am.
