Your Interaxions 2014 Survival Guide

Can you believe it is May 6^th and we are just several days away from kicking off our 20^th Annual Chempax User Conference – Interaxions 2014: The Formula for Success? You may ask, what is so great about Interaxions? Well let me tell you…First, it is a wonderful way to educate yourself and get a first view of the latest Chempax and eChempax tools through various interactive sessions. Second, it is a great opportunity to network by exchanging ideas and building relationships with the Datacor community. Finally, you will have access to the people behind the software.

With your travel plans all set please review some of the other details of Interaxions. The conference will be held at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center in Florham Park, New Jersey. Before you leave home, be sure to have the following:

• Your electronics (ex. Laptop, tablets, cellphones, etc.). Don’t forget to bring your chargers as well!
•  Your Ideas, Questions, Experiences to share with the Datacor community.
• Business cards. You’ll meet all kinds of helpful people and you’ll want a way to track them down later. Tip: Write what you talked about on the back of their business cards to remember.
• Empty Stomach: Trust me you will want to have an empty stomach to keep up with the amount of amazing food available.

Datacor Announces Jennifer Gibson as the Interaxions 2014 Keynote Speaker

Jennifer Gibson, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) advances the group’s interests before regulatory agencies and develops compliance tools and programs for its members. She authors the Regulatory Checklist and Resources for Chemical Distributors and edits the weekly NACD News Brief regulatory e-newsletter. Jennifer facilitates and is a frequent speaker for NACD’s regulatory webinars and in-person training sessions. In addition, she established and manages the NACD Regulatory Affairs Committee and is an active member of the Chemical Sector Coordinating Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Security Task Force, and the Interested Parties for Hazardous Materials. Before turning her full efforts to regulatory issues in 2012, Jennifer directed all of NACD’s legislative activities. Her key accomplishments in this area included substantially increasing member participation in the annual Washington Fly-In and funds raised for the NACD Responsible Distribution PAC.  She joined the NACD in 2003. Prior to entering the association field, Jennifer spent several years on Capitol Hill.

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives. She will be discussing the regulatory environment in Washington and the impacts this is having on the chemical industry during the Conference Kick Off on Wednesday, May 14^th at 8:30 am.

Datacor Announces Boardwalk by the Sea Night!

On Wednesday, May 14^th, Datacor will host a night on the Boardwalk by the Sea Cocktail Hour and Dinner for all attendees. Join the Datacor staff and mingle with other Chempax users for a fun night on the Boardwalk from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Held in the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel’s Ballroom attendees will be taken “down to the shore” while trying their hand at various carnival and casino games. Win big while enjoying a twist on popular Boardwalk food and specialty drinks. Enjoy the evening experiencing the sights and sounds of walking down the Boardwalk by the Sea!

For 19 years, the Chempax and eChempax users that attend Interaxions come away with the knowledge of how to maximize their software. Attendees preview the latest developments to their software, probe the depths of their application and network with other Chempax and eChempax users. Users meet with Datacor developers, implementers, trainers and support staff learning best practices and ways to achieve a rapid return on their software investment.
